DAY1. AMMAN
Depart to Amman.
DAY 02. AMMAN/CAIRO.
Arrival in Amman. City tour of Amman and dinner. Return to airport for flight to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo and transfer to hotel for overnight.
DAY 03. CAIRO
Today we will tour Old Cairo, visiting the very old Coptic Suspended Church, and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Continue your visit to Islamic Cairo to see the famous Citadel of Saladin, Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali and the medieval Bazaars of Khan EL Khalili. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 04. PYRAMIDS/ SPHINX/ MEMPHIS/ SAKKARA
This morning we will visit the Great Pyramids (2900 BC) and Sphinx, facing east to watch the rising sun, the return of life, each day. In the afternoon, we drive 20 miles southwest of Cairo to the first capital of Egypt, Memphis. Close by we will visit Sakkara, City of the Dead. Here is the oldest pyramid on earth, the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Here, also, were found the oldest mummy and papyrus. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Cairo.
DAY 05. CAIRO / NETANYA
Early morning departure from Cairo as we will be traveling along the great Nile River, crossing the Suez Canal by ferry and driving across the Sinai Peninsula. We will enter the Holy Land at the Rafah Border, and continue north along the Mediterranean coast to Jaffa. At Jaffa, St. Peter raised Tabitha to life and St. Peter had the vision in which God asked him to preach the Good News to heathens. We continue to Caesarea where we will see the ancient port built by King Herod the Great along with the fortress used by the Crusaders, the harbor, moat and amphitheater. Our hotel is located in Netanya for dinner and overnight.
DAY 06. NAZARETH / CANA / TABGHA / CAPERNAUM / MOONT OF BEATITUDES / TIBERIAS
Today we proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation, Joseph's workshop and Mary's Well. Continue to Cana, the village of the site of Jesus' first miracle. On to the Galilee where we will travel along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to such places as Tabgha, dedicated to the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Also, we will stop at Capernaum, Jesus' second home where we will see a Second Century synagogue and the House of Peter's mother-in-law. Another site is the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount was delivered. We will end our day at the hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
DAY 07.TIBERIAS/JORDAN VALLEY/ JERICHO /QUMRAN/DEAD SEA/JERUSALEM
This morning we head south through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the world's oldest inhabited city. Here we see the excavations of the ancient Canaanite city destroyed by the Power of God. View the Mount of Temptations where Jesus was tempted by the devil after His baptism in the Jordan River. We will see the Caves of Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found in 1946 by a Bedouin shepherd boy. Stop along the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, to touch its waters. On to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 08. MOUNT OF OLIVES / MOUNT ZION / BETHLEHEM
This morning we begin on the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension, the Church of Pater Noster and walk along Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Also visit the Church of AIL Nations which stands on the Rock of the Agony. View the Eastern (Golden) Gate and the Pinnacle of the Temple. Drive to Mount Zion and visit the House of Caiaphas, "The High Priest," and the dungeon where Jesus was imprisoned the night He was arrested. We will also visit the Cenacle, the site of the Last Supper and the Tomb of David. We then proceed to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. We will visit the Church of the Nativity, Manger Square and the Shepherd's Fields. Then we return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 09. OLD CITY
We will have a walking tour of the "Old City" of Jerusalem beginning at the Dungate. Visit the Wailing Wall and see Mount Moriah and the Dome of the Rock, where tradition holds that Abraham took Isaac to be sacrificed. Walk the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, passing through the picturesque native bazaars. End our day at the Garden Tomb and Skull Hill. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. **Note - Entrance to the Dome of the Rock is not included. *
DAY 10. JERUSALEM / PETRA / AMMAN
This morning we cross then Allenby Bridge to Petra, "The Rose Red City.. Half as Old as Time." This is an amazing "City of the Dead" with its streets, dwelling places, tombs and temples carved from solid rock. Upon arrival at EL JI Post we will continue another mile through the SIQ (natural gorge) and arrive at the "Treasury." Among the many sites we will see are the Nabatean Judgment Hall, Roman Temple, the Roman Amphitheater, Palace Tombs and the Urn Temple. The more adventurous of us may wish to view Jebel Harun (Mountain of Aaron) and the Monastery. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Amman. |
DAY 1. TEL AVIV/ JERUSALEM
Arrival in Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, transfer to you hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2. MOUNT OF OLIVES/ MOUNT ZION/ BETHLEHEM
This morning we begin on the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension, the Church of Pater Noster and walk along palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Also visit the Church of All Nations, which stands on the Rock of the Agony. View the Eastern (Golden) Gate and the Pinnacle of the Temple. Drive to Mount Zion and visit the House of Caiaphas, “ the High Priest”, and the dungeon where Jesus was imprisoned the night He was arrested. We well also visit the Cenacle , the site of the last super and the tomb of David. We then proceed to Bethlehem , the birthplace of Jesus. Day 3. JERUSALEM
We Will have a walking tour of the “OLD City” of Jerusalem beginning at the Dungate. Visit the Wailing Wall and See Mount Moriah, walk the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, passing through picturesque native bazaars. End our day at the Garden Tomb and Skull Hull. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. NOTE: Entrance to the Dome of the Rock is not included.
DAY 4.BETHANY/JERICHO/DEAD SEA
This morning we drive to visit Bethany, the Site where Mary, Marha and Lazarus lived and the tomb of Lazarus. We continue to Jericho, the world’s oldes city. View the excavation of the ancient Canaanite city destroyed by the Power of God. Continue to Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, where we can put our feet into the sea. ( optional tour to Masada—additional cost. It was in Masada that the small band of 960Jewish Zealots held out against the advancing Roman Legions built by King Herod, you can investigate the environs left by the community after their tree-year battle from 70-73A.D.) Onto Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5. JERUSALEM/JORDAN VALLEY/TIBERIAS
This morning we leave Jerusalem for Tiberias-via the Jordan Valley. We will stop at the tradition site of Baptism on the Jordan River. Continue on to Tiberias for dinner and overnights.
DAY 6. AROUND THE SEA OF GALILEE
Today we start by sailing on the Sea of Galilee. Reboard our motorcoach to visit Capernaum, Jesus’ second home. See the 2nd Century synagogue and the House of Peter’s mother-in-law. We drive to Tabgha, the chapel dedicated to the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the mount. Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7. NAZARETH/MEGIDDO/ HAIFA/ CASAREA/ TELAVIV.
After breakfast we depart Tiberias and proceed to Nazareth to see the Church of the annunciation. Continue to the Valley of Armageddon and the historic military fortress that controlled the highway between Egypt and Mesoptamia. Onto Haifa tro see Mount Catmel and Visit Elijah’s Cave. We will drive south along the Mediterranena Sea nad stop in Caesarea, the ancient port built by King Herod the Great. Transfer top airport for check-in on our flight
Day 8 .Tel.Aviv

DAY 1. TEL AVIV / CAESAREA / MOUNT CARMEL / NAZARETH / TIBERIAS
We arrive at Ben Gurion airport, Tel Aviv shortly after breakfast. Our journey begins as we board our motor coach to head north along the Mediterranean Sea and stop in Caesarea, the ancient port built by King Herod the Great. Here we visit the ruins of the fortress used by the crusader, the harbor, moat and amphitheater. On to Mount Carmel to Visit Elijah’s Cave. We now see the church of the Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well. We end our day in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

This morning we will take a cruise across the sea of Galilee. Drive to Capernaum, Jesus’ second home. Here we will see the second Century Synagogue and the House of Peter’s mother-in-law. Continue to Tabgha, the chapel dedicated to the multiplication of the Loaves and the Fishes. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon of the Mount. We will end the day with a stop at the Jordan River to see the traditional site of baptism then return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 03. JERICHO/ DEAD SEA/ QUMRAN/ JERUSALEM
Early morning departure to Jericho, the world’s oldest city. We view the excavation of the ancient Canaanite city that was destroyed by the power of God. Drive by Qumran where we will see the caves in which the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947. then we will continue to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth. Today we will be visiting the “Old City’ of Jerusalem entering through the Dungate. Visit the western Wall, the Ecce Home Arch ( Behold the Man) and the Via Dolorosa. We will also see Mount Moriah and the Dome of the Rock, where traditional holds that Abraham took Isaac to be sacrificed. Passing through the picturesque native bazaars we will walk the Way of the Cross, and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Garden Tomb and Skull Hill. Dinner and overnight at our Hotel. Note: entrance to the Dome of the Rock not included
DAY 06. JERUSALEM / CAIRO.
Early morning departure from Jerusalem to Cairo, Egypt. As we cross the border to Egypt, we are met by our Egyptian guide and driver. We will drive across the Sinai Peninsula and cross the Suez Canal by ferry. We will travel along the great Nile River to Cairo where we check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Today we will visit many sites of a great civilization. Our first stop will be the renowned Egyptian Museum, which houses King Tut's treasure. Tour of Old Cairo, visiting the very old Coptic Suspended Church, and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Continue your visit to Islamic Cairo to see the famous Citadel of Saladin, Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali and the medieval Bazaars of Khan El Khalili. Transfer to the airport for our f1ight to Tel Aviv.
